ENTREPRENEURIAL ORIENTATION AND COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE: EVIDENCE FROM SMES IN SOUTH-SOUTH GEOPOLITICAL ZONE, NIGERIA

In the entrepreneurship literature, there are limited empirical studies that had assessed relationships between entrepreneurial orientation and competitive advantage as well variable influencing most in Nigeria. line with above, this study examined relationship of SMEs south-south geopolitical zone, Cross-sectional survey design was adopted two hundred (200) questionnaires were administered on employees Four (4) dimensions identified namely market, resource, innovation strategic orientations. Data obtained analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency counts, simple percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum maximum values, Pearson correlation), post-estimation (variance inflation factor), inferential (factor analysis). Foremost, correlation revealed is a positive advantage. Interestingly, factor analysis result innovative significant advantage; accompanied by orientation, resource least, market orientation. The findings will help zone Nigeria to be more entrepreneurial-oriented develop good enable them grow, survive succeed extremely business landscape.
